It took quite some time for me to buy the highlighting pen YSL Touche Eclat. This product is quite expensive and its reviews are pretty contradictory. Not too long ago I tried the Touche Eclat foundation and I wasn't that impressed by it (you can read my review here). I have to admit though that I am in love with the highlighting concealer pen YSL Touche Eclat.
I don't think that this product can cover the imperfections on your face or your under eye circles. I am not a big fan of highlighters in general beacuse I don't want to see big chunks of glitter on my face. YSL Touche Eclat brightens the face so delicately and your whole face glows with such a soft radiance. The others don't even notice that you are wearing an illuminator. The pen can be used on your forehead, your nose, chin and under your eyes - where light naturally hits the face.
I've never had a big problem with dark under eye circles but lately because of the long hours I spent in front of the computer and the fact that I am not getting enough sleep at night, my eyes look quite tired. I really like how YSL Radiant Touch brightens my eyes. If you have dark circles though you need a concealer with more coverage because this won't be enough for you.
The packaging is really beautiful and it looks like a jewel like all YSL products. When I click it I get a little bit more product than I need. I can always use the excess on my face but you get only 2,5 ml. of product in the pen and it is pretty expensive.
There are cheaper alternatives to YSL Radiant Touch, sadly I haven't tested any of them because the under eye concealer is something that I rarely use. Now I am addicted to the brightening effect of this pen and I will be watching for similar products from now on. If you have any recommendatins please share them in the comments!
