I haven’t tried many Essence products. I wasn’t impressed with their eyeshadows (you can read more here). Today I’m going to share with you two Essence products that I really like.
Two months ago Essence released a new collection called I ♥︎ nude with neutral shades. Sadly we didn’t get all products from it here in Bulgaria. I managed to pick a lipstick in the shade 03 Come naturally. The price is around 2,50 €, but the quality is just amazing. I like everything about this lipstick - the packaging, the print, the scent. The formulation is hydrating and easy to apply. The pigmentation is great, the colour is a dark neutral shade. 03 Come naturally has a grey undertone, it may not look that great on some skin tones because of it, but I quite like it on my very pale skin. You get 3,8 g. of product. This lipstick is definitely worth it.
The second product is something that I’ve been wanting to try for a while. Essence Blush up is a blush, but instead of just one colour you get a gradient. Estee Lauder have a similar product, but it is much more expensive. MAC also release such blushes as a part of their limited edition collections. I bought the shade 20 Pinky flow. I think that there’s another coral shade of the Blush up blush. I hoped that I can use the light colour as a highlighter, but it is just too pink. This product is a blush and nothing more. I quite like it because of its gorgeous pearly finish. This colour is great for spring. You get 8 g. of product. The price of this blush is around 4 euro. I mix the colours, the shade that I get is a really pretty pink and it looks really fresh applied on the cheeks. It’s not very pigmented, but it is definitely buildable. My only problem with this blush is that it does not last very long, after 2-3 hours it's all gone.
