My purple obsession continues, so expect a lot of purple products here on the blog. Star Nails Bulgaria contacted me a while back and allowed me to pick a nail polish shade from their range. I of course chose a purple one, the colour is called Veneta*.
I haven’t tried a nail polish from this brand before and I have to say that the quality really impressed me. The nail polish was completely opaque in 2 coats, the brush is wide and easy to use, it dried fast. I used the SNB nail polish base, which they kindly send me too, I didn’t apply a top coat. What really impressed me was how long-lasting the colour was, it lasted without chipping around 5 days and it didn’t wear off on the tips of the nails at all. For comparison OPI nail polishes last around 3 days on my nails and there’s some serious chipping going on by the third day. SNB offer a lot of different shades and finishes.
I’ve used only one shade, but I chose a random colour so I guess that the formulation is consistent throughout the range. The bottle contains 15 ml. of product. The shade Veneta is actually is pinkish purple.
I liked the formulation and I think that SNB are a good alternative to other salon brands like Essie and OPI.
