Clarins Eye Quartet Mineral Palette №10 Iris blossom is a part of the new Clarins spring 2013 collection. The packaging is very beautiful and it contains four Clarins limited edition mineral eyeshadows Ombre Minerale, which can be used dry or wet for a more intense colour.
The white colour was the most disappointing one because it is basicly just a multicolour glitter. It can be used over another eyeshadow colour to make it more interesting but whatever you do with it you end up with glitter all over your face.
The grey-brown colour in the palette is amazing. I was worried that it was too close of a colour to another one of the Clarins single mineral eyeshadows, that I own 08 taupe, but this one is more bronzy.
The purple shade is also very beautiful and pigmented. There is some glitter in it but when you blend the colours the glitter goes away.
The dark shade is just an Ok colour. Clarins advices on using it as an eyeliner but it is just not pigmented enough for my taste. I use it in the outer corner of my eye and for smoking eyepencil.
With the eyeshadow quad you get 4 colours around 1,5g each for less money than 2 single Clarins mineral eyeshadows 2g each. I think that if you like the colours in the palette it is a good deal. Ombre minerale eyeshadows are very pigmented even when applied dry and they last a long time on the lid.
