Happy New Year!
I haven't written in a while but I have a lot of posts in mind for the next few weeks. A huge problem for me is the cloudy weather. All my photos look awful.
Revlon has become a pretty hard to find brand in Bulgaria. When I stumbled upon a Revlon counter two weeks ago I quickly bought two lipsticks - Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick №477 Black Cherry and Revlon Colorburst lipstick №010 Plum. Sadly I was soon disappointed. When I came home I noticed the expiration dates - one expires in May and the other in October. Colorburst Plum has even started to smell funky. Despite that I really like both colours.
Revlon Colorburst Plum is the more wearable of the two lipsticks but it is still a pretty dark plum colour. The packaging of this one is really nice, it reminds me of Chanel Rouge Coco lipsticks. The formulation is easy to apply. It lasts a long time on the lips.
I had my eye on Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in Black Cherry for a while. It is a very dark almost gothic purple. At the photo the two lipsticks look almost the same but Black Cherry is more pigmented and more creamy, it looks darker on the lips. A good thing is that both colours make my teeth look whiter. Black Cherry emphasises the lip imperfections a little and it is a little bit harder to work with.
