Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector is a product that every beauty blogger has in her makeup bag. I bought it when it first came out around 5 years ago and honestly I was not that impressed by it. Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector is somewhere between a lip balm and a lip gloss. I think that it is a good product, but it just wasn't hydrating enough for my very dry lips.
I wasn't able to find a dupe for this product for a very long time. A few days ago I saw the new Catrice Beautifying lip smoother. I don't know if it is a limited edition product because it was next to the Catrice fall collection. You can choose between 3 shades, I have the pink one 030 Cake Pop. The packaging is absolutely the same as the packaging of Clarins Lip Perfector, it comes in a tube with an applicator. I know from experience that this applicator gets dirty and it is not very hygienic. You get 9ml. of product. It smells very similar to Clarins Lip Perfector - like vanilla and caramel, but I can't say that it is the same scent. Catrice Beautifying lip smoother is not very pigmented, you can barely see some colour on your lips, it is not sticky. I find the formulation to be more hydrating than the formulation of Clarins Lip Perfector. This product really improved the condition of my lips. Catrice Beautifying lip smoother is not only a cheaper version of the Clarins lip perfector, it is a better version. Its ingredients are:

If you are a fan of Clarins Lip Perfector or if you've always wanted to try it, you should definitely check out Catrice Beautifying lip smoother because it is around 5 time cheaper. I wear it every day since I got it. I wasn't even able to find my Clarins lip perfector to photograph it for this post.
