As a huge lipstick lover and a Charlotte Tilbury fan, I just couldn’t pass the new Hot lips lipstick collection. Each one of the lipsticks is dedicated to a celebrity. I bought three shades - Sexy Sienna, Hot Emily and Hel’s Bells. I got the cutest complimentary samples of three of the other lipsticks with my order.
Some of you asked me about ordering Charlotte Tilbury products. The issue was that they can’t see Bulgaria as a delivery option on the official Charlotte Tilbury website. If the browser does not detect that you are from Bulgaria you’ll see the English version of the site. You have to change the currency to euro so you can have Bulgaria as a shipping destination in the menu.
The lipsticks in the Hot lips collection come in the typical rose gold packaging. The difference is that they have a lipstick print on the lipstick itself. The boxes are changed too. There’s a writing on them - Hot lips. If the lipstick is matte - the box is matte, if the lipstick has the glossy K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Charlotte Tilbury formulation - the box is glossy. Each lipstick is 3,5 g..
Sexy Sienna is a part of the permanent lipstick line and you can get it any time. Sienna Miller is my favourite actress, that’s why I decide to finally get it. The colour is really pretty - coral pink. The formulation is matte. The Charlotte Tilbury Matte revolution lipsticks are great and does not dry out my lips at all. They are vanilla scented. Sexy Sienna is a lovely everyday shade. There’s some subtle shimmer in it too.
Hot Emily is my favourite of the three. This shade is dedicated to Emily Rotajkowski and I was kind of hoping that it will be similar to the red lippie she wears in the video Blurred lines. Hot Emily is from the K.I.S.S.I.N.G. range, it’s hydrating and glossy. The impressive thing about these lipsticks is that they last a long time and does not feather at all. In all the photos online (including mine) Hot Emily looks like a red shade, it’s actually a gorgeous coral colour. This is definitely one of the most unique lipsticks out there and I highly recommend it.
Hel’s Bells is the darker shade in the Hot lips collection. It’s dedicated to Helena Bonham Carter. The formulation is the matte one Matte revolution. The colour is a dark plum, it’s pretty, but you can find it by other brands too. This is the only one of the three shades I own that emphasises the lip imperfections, but just a little bit. It’s because the colour is so dark. Hel’s Bells is very long-lasting and it does not dry out my lips.
The Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks remain one of my favourite lip products.
