The highlighter that Becca created in collaboration with Jaclyn Hill called Champagne pop was one of the most popular products of 2015. I had almost lost hope to get my hands on it. Fortunately I got it for Christmas. I discovered Jacklyn Hill's You tube channel last year (I have no idea where have I been before that) and I really like it. I think that she knows a lot about makeup and gives good advice. The Becca highlighters are very popular at the moment and I think that they deserve their fame. I own Opal and it's one of my all time favourites, you can read more about it here.
Sadly the shade Champagne pop is a limited edition product and if you want it you should hurry. This highlighter is definitely quite unique, I don't own anything like it. You get this glow that looks like sunset on your face. Champagne pop is a gold highlighter with peach undertones. My skin has a natural to yellow undertone and on me it looks quite natural. This confused me the first time I used it, I applied too much and when I went out I was glowing like a light bulb. Champagne pop is an intense highlighter! The shimmer in it is finely milled. The formulation is creamy and it does not emphasize the pores. It applies best with fingers or with fluffier brush. If you use something like a fan brush to apply it it ends up looking like a stroke on your cheek bone.
The packaging of Champagne pop is the same as the packaging of all other Bacca powder highlighters. The only difference is the cartoon box. You get 8 g. of product. On my skin Champagne pop lasts around 4 hours.
Charlotte Tilbury Bar of gold (read my review here) is often compared with the Jaclyn Hill highlighter. As you can see in the photos they are actually quite different. Bar of gold is a true gold highlighter and it's not nearly as intense.
