I haven’t written here in a while. Today, I decided it’s about time to come back. After TikTok the beauty community has changed significantly. I discovered many new products thanks to this platform, but at the same time, I don’t have much trust in the opinions there. Honestly, they seem more like advertisements to me. BookTok, for me, has been a complete failure; it made many weak books famous, and I just wasted money buying them.
Lately, I’ve been really impressed with drugstore products and even prefer them over high-end ones. Today’s post is about the L’ORÉAL Intense Volume matte lipsticks. They are not entirely new on the market, but recently they added new colors in vibrant packaging.
Our requirements for long-lasting lipsticks have significantly changed due to mask-wearing. L’ORÉAL Intense Volume matte lipsticks are from the older generation of long-lasting lipsticks. The color is intense but it leaves marks on cups. You don’t need a lip liner, as the product doesn’t bleed. It wears off relatively evenly.
The packaging was the reason I bought these lipsticks; they look very luxurious. The logo on the actual product rubs off after just one use. I really like the combination of matte black and gold and the slim shape of the packaging. You get less product compared to standard lipsticks.
The shades in this series are vibrant. I have 241 Le coral irreverent - a coral pink (perfect for summer) and 188 Le Rose activist - a red with a pink undertone. I really like L’ORÉAL’s red lipsticks; they have many shades for all undertones.
the packaging and the colors are very beautiful. The only thing to keep in mind when purchasing is that the lipsticks can smudge and leave marks on masks, glasses, etc. They don’t bleed, and you don’t need a lip liner.
