One of the most popular L'OCCITANE products is their hand cream with shea butter. This year L'OCCITANE released three limited edition lines of products with shea butter Shea fortune flowers Trio. Every line consists of a body butter, a hand cream and a lip balm in one of the three limited edition scents - date bouquet, mango flower and rose petals. I liked the mango flower scent the most. If you buy a lip balm and a small hand cream you get a discount in the price. Shea butter is extracted from the nut of an African tree and it is highly used in cosmetics. It is also edible.
The limited edition hand cream mango flower contains 20% shea butter. I am very impressed with this cream - it has a very thick consistancy and it soaks into the skin immediately. It leaves the skin moisturized without a resedue. Even if you wash your hands after you've used this product the effect does not disappear. It smells really nice and the smell is not overwhelming.
The lip balm contains 10% shea butter and it also has a pretty thick consistancy. It moisturizes well. My lips are very dry though and I think I need more than 10% shea butter in my lip balm. The product smells nice but it tastes a little bit like vaseline.
