When I first saw online KIKO Life in Rio collection I was really impressed. At the moment all the products from this collection are 30% off. I oredered the Essential Bronzer in the shade 200 Warm Melange and the Sun Lovers Blush in 01 Ipanema peach. Both products came in a limited edition packaging with a mirror which looks sturdy and you can safely carry them in your bag.
The first thing I noticed about the bronzing powder KIKO Essential Bronzer is that it is huge. You get 20g. of product. It has a slight vanilla scent to it. I bought the lighter of the two shades 200 Warm Melange. This product is not great for contouring. The color is too light and it looks a little orange. You can use KIKO Essential Bronzer only for warming up your complexion. The bronzing powder is too powdery and if you are not careful you can end up with it all over you. KIKO Essential bronzer is an OK product, but for the price there are better bronzers.
KIKO Sun Lovers Blush in 01 Ipanema Peach is just amazing. Imagine MAC Mineralize skinfinishes, but with the shimmer of the Dior highlighters. I've discovered such products only in the high end makeup. A half of 01 Ipanema peach is a shimmery peachy coral color. From the other half you can even get a bronzer because it has a brown in it. I mix all the colors and apply the product as a blush. The shade 01 Ipanema peach is no longer available on the KIKO website, but there are still two other shades of the Sun Lovers blushers left. You get 8g. of product. Sun Lovers blushes are vanilla scented. I highly recommend this blush.
Both products are paraben free. The formulations are hypoallergenic. I am quite impressed with the KIKO makeup range. I ordered a lot of products and I am going to write more about them in the future posts.
