Guerlain Meteorites bubble blush was a part of the Guerlain spring 2014 collection. I wrote a whole post about it, you can find it here. Sadly it was a limited edition product and it is no longer available. When I was placing my KIKO cosmetics order a few weeks ago I saw KIKO Cheeky Colour creamy blush, which looks a lot like the Guerlain blush and of course I had to order it.
KIKO Cheeky Colour creamy blush is a part of the KIKO Sportproof Active Colours collection, which is limited edition. I really hope that one of these two brands decides to make this blush permanent. KIKO Cheeky Colour creamy blush is available in four shades. I own 03 Strawberry pink and I really love the color, because it is exactly what it says it is - strawberry pink, it looks so fresh for summer. Here is a little comparison between the Guerlain and the KIKO blush.
Guerlain Meteorites bubble blush
Packaging - The reason I decided to buy this blush in the first place was the packaging. I think it is so fun and it makes applying the product so easy. The idea is interesting, but the packaging is made of plastic and for the price I think that Guerlain could have done a better job. You get 4 g. of product.
How long does it last? - It lasts around 4 hours.
Formulation - It is very easy to apply and blend this product.
Pigmentation - It is strongly pigmented, but it is very blendable too.
Scent - It smells like violets.
Availability - It was a limited edition product, you can't find it anymore.
KIKO Cheeky Colour creamy blush
Packaging - The packaging is very similar to the packaging of the Guerlain blush. A difference that I want to point out is that with KIKO you get more product - 10g.
How long does it last? - I am really impressed by how long-lasting this blush is. It lasts over 10 hours.
Formulation - Applying the product is very easy, but blending requires some work.
Pigmentation - It is strongly pigmented.
Scent - Fragrance free
Availability - It is a limited edition product, but you can get it now, it is a part of the KIKO Sportproof Active Colours collection.
My choice: The two products are very similar. KIKO Cheeky Colour creamy blush is definitely a good deal, its price is 5,50 euro (it is 30% off at the moment).
