Today I was planning to write about a book that I didn’t quite enjoy, but I had a pretty bad day today. So I decided to talk about a product that I like instead.
There’s a lot of hype around the NYX Butter glosses so I caved in and bought the shade Tiramisu. At first I don’t know why, but I wasn’t that impressed. I often reach for “your lips but better” kind of lip shades. I started using it every day and without even realising it I was already a proud owner of 3 more shades.
Women who love wearing lip gloss would love NYX Butter glosses. They are very glossy. Don’t be fooled by the name, Butter gloss have nothing to do with lip butter or lip balm. The name is because of the caramel scent, the lip glosses smell exactly like the Butterscotch treats.
There’s a mineral oil among the ingredients of NYX Butter gloss, that’s the reason it feels hydrating on the lips. I don’t think that it will improve the condition of your lips, it’s just a lip gloss. You get 8 ml. of product in the packaging.
NYX added a few new shades to the range this fall. I bought Raspberry Tart, a lovely blueberry shade. I can tell that there’s a difference in the formulation of the old and the new shades. I can tell that there’s a difference in the formulation of the old and the new shades. The old colours are thicker and stickier.
It seems like Tiramisu is the most popular shade - a dark nude. Apple Strudel is almost a dupe for MAC Pink Lemonade lipglass and it’s a pinky coral shade. Peaches and cream is a bright pink with yellow undertones. It is similar to MAC Viva Glam Nicki, but it’s not a dupe. Raspberry Tart is my new favourite and it’s a blueberry colour.
In the US these lip glosses are very affordable, but here in Europe they are a little bit pricier. I like NYX Butter glosses, I prefer lip glosses over lipsticks in general. The colours are pretty too!
