Becca Blushed with Light Palette (Blush Trio Palette)

 11.12.2016

I didn’t plan on buying this blush palette, but it just jumped (all by itself) into my online shopping basket. Becca is a brand that gained a special place in my heart. Blushed with Light turned out to be one of my best beauty buys this year.

The packaging of the palette is gorgeous and inside you get three beautiful blushes. I fell in love with this product from the moment I saw it.

Blushed with Light is a limited edition palette, but two of the shades Songbird and Snapdragon are permanent Becca colors. The palette contains 13,1 g. of product. I really like the design of the packaging, the only downside is that your fingerprints stay on it.

The colors - I enjoy the color selection and I use every single shade in this palette. The colors are quite bright and pigmented.

Wisteria is the limited edition blush in the palette and it’s one of the colors I usually go for - rosy mauve with a purple undertone. This color is matte and it’s very pigmented. The formula is Becca’s Mineral blush formulation.
Songbird is one of the brand’s bestselling shades, it’s a unique shade with a unique formula. The color is a dark coral with a gold sheen. It’s a part of the Mineral blush Becca range, but it’s not matte, the shimmer in it is very interesting. Songbird is my favorite color out of the three. It looks amazing on and I don’t own anything like it.
Snapdragon is the brightest of the three, but the color is very fresh - a shimmery pink. This one is also very pigmented and you need the smallest amount. The shimmer in it is not very visible and does not emphasize the pores as the Luminous blush in the Becca X Jaclyn Hill palette (review here).

The formulation - These blushes are intensely pigmented and you need the smallest amount of product. It’s easy to make yourself look like a clown with these. The blushes are not powdery at all. The only thing I don’t like in this palette is that the colors does not last long. The reason may be the fact that you actually apply a very small amount of product because of the pigmentation. These last around three hours on me and I definitely wish they were more long-lasting.
Becca Blushed with Light is definitely a very pretty palette and I don’t regret purchasing it. Becca is now one of my favorite brands.
