The Catrice matte lipsticks were really popular in the blogging world a while back. I haven’t tried them. Now the brand released a new formulation called Vegan Collagen matte. I bought two shades - 03 Be fearless and 05 Be amazing.
The formulation
The lipsticks are very creamy with a matte finish, very strong pigmentation. You need just a swipe for a fully opaque colour. The lipstick does not feather, but the shades are bright so a lip liner is a good idea. The formulation contains hyaluronic acid, muru muru butter and aloe vera.
The packaging and scent
The packaging is simplistic - matte black. The lipsticks have a slight sweet scent.
The shades
There’s a lot of pretty colours in the range. I’m very happy with 05 Amazing - a pinky coral. It reminds me of the collaboration between MAC Viva Glam and Nicki Minaj. This kind of shade is very hard to find. When it comes to the colour, 03 Be fearless is quite similar to MAC Whirl(link) but the Catrice lipstick is more creamy and they end up looking slightly different on the lips.
In a nutshell
Catrice collagen Vegan matte lipsticks are very pigmented matte lipsticks with a creamy formulation. The shade 05 Amazing is gorgeous. I definitely recommend them!
