I've wanted to try Rare Beauty's liquid blush in Hope for quite some time, but the formula was too pigmented for my taste. I don't want to easily end up looking like a clown. I've written more about that here. The Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush also comes in the shade Hope, but I have one of the other colours and it crumbled very easily. I decided not to invest in more blushes from that line.
When I found out that Rare Beauty was releasing Hope in a new creamy formula, I decided it was high time to try it.
The Formula
The formula is truly interesting, resembling a creamy mousse. Once applied, the blush looks matte and has a blurring effect on imperfections. It lasts about 5 hours on me and is buildable. It's easy to apply, even with fingers.
The Color
Hope is indeed a very beautiful colour and fully deserves its social media fame. The blush is a neutral pale mauve, perfect for everyday wear. It looks very elegant and will suit many undertones. The colour is cool-toned, which isn't often found in blushes.
The Packaging
The packaging is very cute – a round, matte compact in the colour of the product. You get 6.4 grams of product.
