I've heard that Illamasqua lipsticks are not that great. Not too long ago they released a new range Glamore, which got a lot of positive reviews. I have a soft spot for the "my lips but better" lipstick shades. Illamasqua is a brand famous with its bright colored and artistic products. It was quite surprising when this summer they released 7 new nude Glamore lipstick shades.
According to Illamasqua your perfect nude lipstick colour is the colour of your nail bed. I ordered the shade Cherub. On me it looks like more of a coral than a nude. Despite that I really like it and it is almost the same colour as one of my favourite blushes Illamasqua Velvet Blusher in the shade Sleek (you can read more about it here). The formulation of the Glamore lipsticks is incredible - they are very pigmented, they apply like butter, very hydrating. This lipstick smells really good, all the Illamasqua products I've tried have that scent - I think it smells like biscuits.
I like the packaging too, it is similar to the Chanel packaging. You get 4 g. of product, which is a good amount. I highly recommend these lipsticks, I really want to buy the shade Rosepout too. The only downside is that this lipstick contains mineral oil, it doesn't bother me though.
