It took me so much time to sit down and write a review of the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout that they managed to translate the first three books in Bulgarian by the time I publish my post. At the moment all three books are 50% off if you buy them with BRAVO magazine or if you order them online from Egmont Bulgaria.
I personally didn't expect to like this series so much. The main character Katy moves with her mother to a small town after the death of her father. The neighbours are a brother and a sister, who it turns out are aliens.
Katy is a blogger and she writes about books. Here Jennifer L. Armentrout definitely gets some points (as would Daemon Black say). The storyline of this series is very similar to the storyline of Twilight. There are moments which are like copied from the Stephenie Meyer' series. I am not a fan of Twilight, but I really enjoyed Obsidian.
Katy and Daemon are very interesting and fun characters. My main problem with Twilight is that I find Bella and Edward to be quite boring. The Lux series is very addicting, you literaly can't put the book down. I am reading the fourth book Origin at the moment. There are five books in this series, the fifth and final book Opposition was published in English on 5th August. There is another novel called Shadows which tells the story of Daemon's brother. The titles of the first three books are Obsidian, Onyx and Opal.
Jennifer L. Armentrout is an amazing author and I'll be definitely reading more of her books. The Lux series has a lot of fans and I don't know a person who doesn't like these books. No matter if you are a Twilight fan or not, I am sure that you are going to like Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout.
