Urban Decay Afterglow 8-hour powder blush in Bittersweet

21.05.2015

Urban Decay released a lot of new products and to be honest I liked them all. Lately I’ve been obsessed with purple so when I saw the new Afterglow blush in the shade Bittersweet (link) I just had to own it.

The packaging is so gorgeous and you get 6,8 g. of product. The Afterglow blushes are supposed to be finely milled, sheer and blendable. Some of the shades are shimmery, others are matte.

Urban Decay Afterglow 8-hour powder blush in BittersweetBittersweet is a bright matte pinky purple. This colour is definitely far from the usual natural shades, but I adore it. The formulation of these blushes is supposed to be long-lasting and they should last 8 hours. The shade that I own is very bright so I apply a small amount of the product. On me it lasts around 5 hours. The formulation is quite interesting - finely milled but buildable. The more neutral shades may indeed last 8 hours, I just apply my blush with a light hand, because Bittersweet is not for the faint of heart. I really like the formulation of these blushed and I am already eyeing another colour.
